FAQ's

Here is some useful information about the hotel which should help answer most frequently asked questions by guests:

Arrival and departure
Accommodation is normally available from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If guests arrive prior to this time they are welcome to relax in the lounges or bar until their room becomes available. Departing guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11 am , however they are welcome to use the public areas after this time.

Late arrival
Unless guests notify Hotel reception of late arrival, we reserve the right to release the rooms after 6 pm.

Children
Sharing Room with parents.  Children under 14 are complimentary and meals are paid for as taken.

Ground floor access
There are a number of bedrooms at ground floor level as are all public rooms, but there are several steps at entry and also within the ground floor. Assistance is available to the disabled.

Lifts
Please note that the hotel does not have lift access

Car parking
Free, onsite, lit car parking for up to 60 cars.

Dietary requirements
Please advise the hotel of any specific dietary requirements when making the reservation.

Dogs
Please note that all dogs, with the exception of guide dogs, are not permitted in the hotel.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel.

Payment
All major credit cards are accepted. Personal cheques are accepted subject to approval.

If you're celebrating one during your stay....we can make it memorable....
Champagne , chocolates, flowers, roses, a Scottish piper, a serenade!! Many rooms have queen and king sized beds. Celebration cakes, gourmet packed lunches. Scottish, continental or champagne breakfast in bed by arrangement.
