“Just a short note to say how wonderful our day was. John made everyone feel very relaxed about the whole process, even though I was still standing in my casual clothes and no make up at 2:05pm, as well as planning the entry into the ceremony room to take full effect of the piper. He kept us organised but at no point did we feel pressured. The reception room was set up beautifully given that the decoration and information was a little late in arriving. Dinner service was prompt and was complimented on by all guests, to the extent that some had more than one portion, and the waiting staff did a fab job. In the evening we were looked after by Andrew who did a fantastic job of making us again feel relaxed, and the hotel's DJ was great, working with the songs I gave him and then providing a very entertaining evening for a very mixed crowd. Lastly, a special thank you to Lindsey for working with a very under-prepared and overly relaxed couple, which I'm sure made her job a little difficult at times, yet at no point did we feel anything less than special. Once again, many thanks to everyone at the Buchanan Arms for the perfect wedding weekend”.

“With the assistance of the very helpful staff, everything went perfectly. The accommodation was first class, the meal and the evenings festivities were fantastic, with the hotel's resident DJ who was superb. With John (Lindsay too!) guiding us through things, it was an entirely enjoyable experience. For those of us who made breakfast, this also was excellent. I would definately recommend this hotel, especially as a wedding venue”.
