Relax Health and Fitness Club

A visit to the Relax Health and Fitness Club is an absolute must while you're staying at the BEST WESTERN Buchanan Arms Hotel. One of the finest health and leisure clubs in Central Scotland – and one of the very few in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs area.

Our hallmarks are great value, the latest equipment and a friendly environment to work out in or just to relax. This state of the art club is used by both local residents and hotel guests, creating just the right atmosphere - the perfect leisure facilities and ambience for contributing to a relaxing stay in Loch Lomond, or to keep fit. 

The newly refurbished club boasts a 14m indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, squash court and aerobics studio. We also have a fully equipped gymnasium, managed by trained and qualified instructors who are there to support all of your needs. A fabulous array of classes include aerobics, yoga, circuit training, pilates, swimming lessons and water aerobics.

Enjoy a stylish open plan reception at the poolside, with viewing gallery and cafe style seating area – an ideal place to sit and relax and perhaps read the paper or a good book after an intense workout, where tea, coffee, soft drinks and ice creams are available.

We have modern ladies and gents changing rooms with high-pressure showers, lockers and drying facilities. Towels are provided by the club as well as other necessary toiletries.

The Haven, our luxury Spa

The Haven Spa is located within the Leisure Club here at the Buchanan Arms, where our team of highly trained beauty therapists will be on hand to pamper you.  Right here in the beautiful surrounding countryside and nearby Loch Lomond, what better place to lie back and soak up an atmosphere that is pure relaxation.

Since 2007 we have been finalists in a total of 12 different categories at the British Beauty and Spa Awards, winning the UK Facialist of the Year accolade in 2007, 2008 and 2009. We are also proud holders of the Salon of the Year (Scotland and NW England) title for 2009/2010.

Our Spa Breaks have been specially devised to help you switch off from everyday pressures, forget any worries and just float! We may not be able to guarantee glorious sunshine but we can promise you a break you will never forget.
